Got my 12-24v 20A step up transformer, finally temporary test hook up today and working fine so far.
Now currently installing it properly.

Also just about to leave work and one of the lads reappears (thought he'd already left) "erm the boss says to get you to plug in and see what's wrong with my van as the fleet management Co. are useless!
He had the mil light on. So plugged in the vcm, fired up the laptop and bloody ids wouldn't see the vcm ok use forscan instead and it worked fine.
There were a load of codes stored as the fleet company haven't cleared anything after doing any work. So cleared it all an nothing came back so sent him on his way, will see him tomorrow an find out if anythings come back.

nice little tidbit:

replaced the go faster button a few days ago. since then the engine runs perfectly idle. it used to be kinda shaky and uneven depending on the lottery numbers and the position of the moon respective to venus but that is complely gone.

Also found a top range Mk7 with the nice interior lamp in with map lights. Fitted that too. Just need to put some LEDs in as the bulbs are just dismally dim. ImageImage
