Can anyone tell me exactly which wire is which in the main plug for the lamps, I'm thinking of wiring the projectors up to main beam or side lights depending how bright they are, I'm also thinking of getting the same fogs agin in orange and wiring to the indicators..

Cheers

Hi all will be more upbeat haha as recommended lmao so drove Southend to Chesham in Bucks and didn't put engine flush in, as was advised maybe should just leave van on tick over for the flush, got home and just had time to collect new wings £39 each and the half litre of diamond white paint for the sprayer guy £25 picked up a bottle of Wynns injector cleaner will be interesting to see the results £7. Deffo needs the oil flush and change and filter as went out early and found spanner and oil light on. Reset it according to advice found on this site the spotty youth in auto shop seemed to think I perhaps could do without the flush as all diesels he'd ever seen had black oil in them so I replied I didn't know history of the van and I thought it could do nothing but good so bought it any way. Just as an aside noticed around twilight before had vehicle lights on reflection of my side lights on the rear of vehicles in front then realised that side lights are coming on when foot brake applied. A problem to sort tomorrow along with oil change and filter plus fuel filter. Regards to all Kev the crane driver

I believe i have a earth problem,
When i start her up in the mornings & turn on the heaters or wipers etc, Everything seems to run slow for a minute or 2 & then everything seem to go on high power if you know what i mean. Everything seem to run normal. i have replaced the battery with a brand new one as it was needed. Also have just a single battery. My guess is a bad earth. Is there 2 earths on my van. All my electrics are mk6 as i have mondeo engine. What one would you look at first.

Many thanks

Tony

I would have thought that was more alternator issue than earth. N

Its better than when my keys were out the ignition and the fan worked, I had reverse lights and brake lights and my wipers worked slow. Mine was a soaking wet relay on the passenger inner wing so the permanent live was shorting through the earth and switched live f*** knows how it didn't blow any fuses but it saved me a headache

I would check the plug and stuff for damp and check the out put of the alternator, I had a fiesta many years ago that everything ran slow in the rain, it was something to do with damp on/in/around the alternator. N

Have you ever had a vehicle that actually worked properly? ;)

He's always got them up for grabs has a constant stream, any colour you like, mine are graphite gunmetal a bit darker than I envisaged but still nice, I'm going to have a go at splitting my old ones at some point and maybe paint these to flip on, lenses will need a good clean and polish tho if i do
