A Porsche Cayenne came across in front of me (from the lane to the right), and decided to slam his brakes on, simply because the lane to the right had come to rest due to traffic, and he didn't want to "undertake" even though the slip road was clear, and is a separate lane. I don't normally get caught out by these twats, but that one very nearly had me :!: :?

I did that similarly in my van the other day, I was joining a road via a slip road and the selfish sod in the car on my right just beeped his horn at me because as I joined the road he had to slam on
I always give way or move over for the slip road unless gridlocked. Yes it is my right of way or his in this case but we accept that speed matching and blind spot watching is something that a common curtasy could be extended too.
Well whatever, I wasn't stopping

Pulled onto the motorway one morning and as I veered out got blown out of it by clown in truck. He wasnt near me and should have moved over to the next lane but chose to be the big boy.I knew the company who owned the truck and guessed he was heading to the depot so I drove at limiter speed in front of him to the depot as he followed where he buzzed the gate  He must have thought I was the fuzz as the car I was driving looked like an undercover one  Went up to the office asked for the owner and explained what happened and he tooked my number.Got a call later it was all on dash cam and I got an offer of a truck driving job

Well once you ladies have finished bickering, slagging each other off and bitching about your aircon others have been doing some real van detectiving, I spotted some damp bits round the filler pipe which made me suspect there was something not right.
After some ground-breaking sleuthing work I apprehended the suspect, tried him in the kangaroo court which was conveniently being held under my van. Being the QC, judge, jury and the public in the packed gallery (the tension was gripping), I sentenced the fuel tank breather pipe to life in the bin and introduced a new hose onto the society that is my van.

Also had a look at relocating the tank but it's not as simple as I'd first hoped due to Ford's inconsistent spacing of there chassis ladder crossmembers.

Anyone ever remodelled a plastic fuel tank?

I glued 400w of solar panels to my roof. Lets hope I never need to get them off!

Used "3M 760 UV". This works with most plastics, and sticks very well to my panels, I tested it before fitting. It's UV safe and permanently flexible. The panels are from aliexpress, about 100 quid each and I can give the link if anyone is interested. I used to be an electronics tech, and they meet the specs as far as I can test them. Fancy coating to repel dust and water.

Only seen 180w so far, the sun is quite low here in Sweden where I'm working, and they'll never be angled well. That was the point of going over the top with the number of panels, they're relatively cheap and I didn't want a big tilted panel advertising there's someone sleeping in the van.

I dropped it out completely and dropped fuel cooler too, disconnected it at the joints just in front of the tank, made some QR blanks by crimping some heatshrink over the pipe ends of spare fittings I've got so fuel didn't drain back, leak or take too much air so restarting was no probs too

Was seeing how much hassle it's going to be to move tank backward down the van but think I'm going to have to do a purpose made one or heat gun and distort mine considerably

I’d be interested in them. I’ve found 320W panels on eBay for about £400
Are yours flexi panels?

This is the controller I would buy in hindsight, the 20A version. I actually got the 30A version, but found it oversized.
