Does anyone know, is it easier to remove the whole dpf and flexible pipe as I just can't get the leverage from below with my spanner, it's super tight? Or do I get a long reach 22mm spanner to help.

You're best asking technical questions by making a new post in the Mk6/7 technical section. This is more of a chit chat and banter thread, and any serious post is likely to get lost, or worse, answered by BJT   :P

Broke the rear right leaf when I got into work.
Managed to find a local mob with one in stock and they'd deliver it too, result!
Got to it delivered to work and set about it once I'd got stuff finished.
So glad there's a big workshop to get the van into

Found a minibus at the breakers (at last) and it had its fob... Mostly pocketed that and just programmed it to my old bus... Not the neatest, but it works.

Also found a top range Mk7 with the nice interior lamp in with map lights. Fitted that too. Just need to put some LEDs in as the bulbs are just dismally dim. ImageImage
