Now that's out of the way I can get on with some other stuff like changing the 2 duff injectors

Mechanic was surprised at how nice it was to drive and said the engine feels better than his shitreon van

Result 8)

My mk7 ran sweet I gotta say and it was fast too, and much better than this custom fwd junk I currently own :? But damn if it wasn't so pretty :(

You got kit to do injectors and stuff haven't you DD? :-)

Considering it's only a 115ps and it's just ticked over 185k miles and it's not exactly small and light it still feels pretty quick.
The custom I had while my mk7 was in for repair was nice enough to drive, brake pedal position gave me leg ache for a couple of weeks until I'd got used to it

Yeah I've got Forscan and elm327 to do injectors.

Might even try a forced dpf regen on it as well, i don't think it would've done a regen as the egr wasn't working and warning light had been on since I bought it 2 years ago

Finally got round to taking off the welded up crank pulley and fitting the new one and belt.
Done the silent job in less than an hour and made more noise putting tools away and locking the van (door not shut) than doing the job
Shouldn't really leave these jobs to start them at 23.30....
