Talking of brake unions, I'm going to replace to whole kit n kaboodle on the Jumbo, all it's ever had is the front 12 inches or so spliced on, the thought of leaving two straight furrows over a roundabout isn't as appealing as I once thought it was. :P

Just been out in her van and did some recordings. Thinking No.2 may have something to do with it being lumpy....?Image

no they are 10 x 3 led in one long strip, I did lengthen the wire where i put the wire through the roof strength arches, got them on ebay for a fiver,,,, item number https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/253237189305, and they switch off completely as i connected them up inside the factory roof light with piggy back spade terminals

the overhead cupboard looks factory as it fits so well an yes it is rather Poosh

Got delivery of bits for vans.
Brake flairing tool, belt tensioner & brake fittings box.

Just need to pickup some brake pipe from halfrods (it's cheapest place with trade card)
And waiting on a voltage sensing relay for my van. But that won't be here till mon/tues but got to get her van for mot first to see how much actually it's going to fail on. Suspect brake pipes & wishbone bushes etc. Time will tell.

I got the pipe from Halfrauds as well, even without using my trade card it was cheaper than eurocarparts

It’s unbelievable how much my van has changed condition wise since the grits been going down , there’s rust creeping up everywhere and now found 2 holes in the sills bloody ford!

Tho I’m on the same boat as Morgan and have been down the dealers looking at the NV300 , it’s kind of hard to say no at that price especially with the 5 year warranty

If you got a mk6 front wheel drive then you might also have the glow plug power shorting to the engine. Where the wire connect to the glow plug at the corner of the engine is where is can wear through

Changed the oil and filter, plus air filter. it's done about 140k miles. Used the castrol magnatec fully synthetic that claims to meet Ford WSS-M2C913-D

It's a 2013 mk7 euro5 2.2L fwd. I did the gearbox oil and fuel filter in the 120k mile service. Had new disks and pads done by a mechanic at about 130k miles and he said the wheel bearings seemed ok then. No stored codes on my 10 quid ODB2 dongle, though I guess the proper ford one might be more detailed.

What else should I check at service time?
