Thanks Punto, I will have a good think about changing mine then. You can pick the custom ones up pretty cheap now.

Cheap seats you sure ...... They sell the base for £90 and I've not seen a custom single seat for less than £300 and usually much more

There is a set in FB at the moment for £120. They normally go for about £150. Thats both Drivers and double passenger seat.

Front ones are cheap but the folding rear ones aren't and the unfolding rear ones from the dciv are crap.

Fronts are nice, I actually found myself adjusting the lumbar support for my back recently.

Quesrion :?: why are there so many custom/mk8 seats for sale? Are people removing them from write off/stolen vans or have ford made far too many? Just curious

Anyway my vans been a bit sluggish of late, bit like driving with low front tyres :? So today I fiddled with the turbo actuator, when moving the rod in n out abit it it made a kind of squelchy noise and now the van goes like a tramp on a sandwich :) is it time for a new actuator. N

Mine came from a guy In Arbroath that was doing a camper conversion and swapped his for two swivelling singles. By the time I bought them and sold my old ones it cost me £40 :D

Same with the rear seat, works out £30ish :D

I did some shopping yesterday and ended up with stuff I hadn't gone for
One set of lecy window motors and associated parts, just missing a passenger side switch.
A selection of small parts and three of these Image
Anyone got a spare one so I can make 4?
Found loads of front drive shafts all cut through the middle. What bloody use is that for a rwd van!?
