How did you get on with the button alignment? I ended up putting a thin sheet of plastic in mine between the buttons on the key and the white plastic bit as one of the push buttons on my flip didn't push properly meaning it was out of alignment, so the thin sheet of stiff but flexible plastic increased the surface area of the button and hay presto job done..

I trimmed the pcb down with the dremmel, so it lined up perfect, then hot glued it in place :)

Nice one N :D

I actually polished some bits on my van this morning  Going to try and do a bit every day now to get it reasonable :D

Need to do some minor welding on the rear inner wings this week too, covering up some holes left by the RAC  Do I need to disconnect the battery, or not if I use my MIG :?:

Then unloaded my sh1t out of the back and started to get it ready for it's next job. Actually got shamed into buying some polish for it, so might do a bit of that this week too :)

Sorry about that mate but I did show you what's under the oxidization and made a little start 8) . looks like Jaffa under all that white

Little tip with them RAC vans. When all been cut and polished use only water to clean it leaving the polish behind thus giving better protection against further oxidization. Think I might have mentioned that to you at TM
Also best be safe than sorry on the welding front , disconnect batteries.

Will never make it to the Jaffa standard Mate, but hopefully you won't mind me parking next to you next year  Used this stuff, bought at TM

Seems OK, but will probably get some G3 and G10 as recommended by my other new mate Karl :)

Yes Mate, you mentioned the water only cleaning, and Karl said the same IIRC. Might get the gas bottles out and braze the pieces in as it's only a little job and it will save the hassle of battery disconnection :)
