£600

Go to vauxhall and ask for smart repair, worth a try! 280 I paid and it is virtually unoticeable. He fixed the wing and door and painted the wing and door and bumper corner all blended in  1

I have a smaller pre-purchase dent in the same area, I plan on cutting a piece off a scrapper and welding in into my van, when the weather improves. N

It's a bit of an awkward place as it's over the join of 2 panels, filler and paint will be fine for it.

I'm going to pop by another local body shop during the week and see what they reckon, I need some other bits sorting on it as well at some point

Ah yes the 2 panels , get down the paint trade place and get a big can of upol body filler for 20 sovs, do the filling and most of the prep work yourself and let the body shop paint it, mucho cheaper that way  N

High pressure pipe near the rack, there's a plastic clip that holds the pipe to the chassis by a screw which makes the pipe rot through.
After that it'll be obvious I think :-)

Thanks loot

Not posted in a while but got a few jobs done on Gina :D .I did the strut drop on front and had Midland Road Springs decamber the rears for me. Got some bits for crimbo including visor and bonnet guard.

Cool :-) he doesn't use filler or anything he just throws some magic dust over it and it's fixed! I did see that he'd lacquered it though :-)

Stuck in a layby overnight, luckily it's a camper with thick duvets!

Battery is not being charged, I thought I could get home but apparently not. RAC guy says the altinator is dead. But he looked for the belt and then guessed, didn't put a meter on it.

Will pull the batteries and charge them at home, so I can drive it the rest of the way. Save paying for a tow.

Mr Haynes says the altinator is an easy job, is that right? Anything I should look out for?
