Replaced the front nearside wishbone and driveshaft, with a new driveshaft oil seal in the gearbox.. The old one was replaced only year ago, a Q one from Eurocarparts. Bloody thing was very slack. Only put 20,000 miles on it. Solved my van steering to one side under acceleration as the fromt bushing was worn out and sloppy. Driving down too many country lanes in the ruts...

Also fitted a new oil sump as mine was getting a little porus and its MOT time this week.

Took it out for it's second test drive this week the first resolved gearbox and clutch issues, but threw up a completely new noise a lucky guess as to the cause saw me fit a second hand viscous coupling the whole damn thing. On the plus side the guy I got the gearbox off threw in a spare slave cylinder and the coupling top man been out all good just the one noise to locate now.

I've been putting £20-40 in lately rather than filling it as keep thinking I'll get a chance to drop the tank. But not managed yet but keep having to top the bloody thing up again an again.

Mine expires at end of the month but just realised new mot rules apply this wknd,
Not exactly sure how it'll affect the test but for me but missed a trick I could of had it done at the start of the month. But was planning to do the clutch and gearbox swap & wheels on and exhaust box replaced before mot. Oh well.

Yeah the new mot rules are a load of sh*t so it will be good to see the changes and how to get round them

Changed both track rod ends, which were scabious with rust and generally fubar'd. That managed to fix the growl I was hearing as well.

Swapped knackered mk6 drivers seat for decent mk7 seat. It's like driving a new van!
Drive it like you stole it...
