No, I had it done this morning and all I paid for was the Bosch " High Performance " wipers.

I must say I'm glad I got the wipers, who wouldn't on a new screen? But they're those aero looking wider ones and the attachment system is better than utter crap set up I had previously.

I'm in Australia Steve, I'm with Shannons Insurance and I've really nothing but good to say about them.

I have been since 2008.
I pay the equivalent 36 quid a month. My 2012 Transit is valued by them at about 7,000 GBP I could probably get more as it is pretty decent and a quick glance at sales tells me I would.

I also have my 2016 Beta 300RR on the policy, it's insured when it's in my shed or in the van for theft. They value that at about 3,000 GBP.

I think for 36 GBP a month that's a pretty good deal. I've made one claim besides the windscreen and that was for a high performance car I had a some time ago. The repair bill was pretty substantial but my premium went up a small amount for I think 2 years. They have always been super easy to deal with.

I've heard some astonishing amounts that folk pay for insurance in England.

Finally wired up the heated seat kit I’ve fitted, by I’ve fitted I mean my brother fitted the pads on Tuesday, anyhow wired it in today, extended the wire for the switch so I can have it on the switch unit between the sun visors, tested the bugger and burnt my arse  might fit pads to the passenger seat as well, maybe

Been away in Cardiff for a few days at the OHs house but took the van for a drive as we went from Cardiff up north to Kidderminster and the West Midlands but whilst other in Cardiff I added two more USB sockets to the dash with the help of a drill to make the opeing bigger for the second socket.
Whilst travelling the screenwash was doing a good job at keeping the bottom 4" of the screen clean so I looked at that today and found the jets were working fine albeit doing a good job of cleaning above the screen, a quick redirection with a pin and they are aimed at the screen now.

Unfortunately I did find I have a knackered lower ball joint to which I hate changing, I’m sure I have a few spares somewhere.

Not planning of skirts, the plan is 3” stainless side pipes running down each side, need to build my work shop first so I can make them.

What the plan with the tourneo?
