Yep I can remember in the 80's and 90's going to GW Bridges in Pease pottage near Crawley cars stacked 3 high and rocky as fook :shock: Tool box checks on way out as well , also bumping in to one of my uncles as well

Have to agree with you, Hambiltons in Caistor was the last decent one around here and it closed down because of EU save the whale bollocks.

Its a bit of a trek for most but pimhole lane in bury used to be fantastic (I believe it still is) there were about 20 scrappies there, the one I go in Northwich is still old school, 2 high vehicles, muddy oily ground, fill your pockets :lol: :lol: N

Just put my 2 new batteries in so I'll see if the starter spins full speed after a chilly night. The b*stard vent pipes are on the opposite side from the old one :oops:

Don't they have the vent hole on each side with a wee bung in them :?: what batteries did you get. N

I noticed them a few weeks ago when I got the strut, just fed the wire through for the lights, what you been up to with the spare mirror :?: N

They're yuasa 3000 smf batteries and only a bung on the posi side

I might've been running some extra wires through :wink:



Just need to decide on white or amber

That's a bummer innit, mine have one each side but only the rear battery has a pipe on it :shock: be alright won't it. N

:lol: it took me 40 minutes to fish the bloody wire through, is there a easier way?, I only popped in to the junkyard cos er in doors sent me to matalan which is near the junkyard :D N
