Finished installing the gas heater as well as the checker plate flooring and carpet lining.
Just need to book some track days to get some use out of it now.Image

Been n for two new boots on the front. That's stopped the wobble from the originals which were starting to bulge
But it's not the weather for doing the ARB drop links that can wait till one evening this week.

Made a start on the wiring, just going to lay it out in the van and er-in-doors buggers off out...............................................in the van :roll: Bleedin typical. N

Didn't do the roof with carpet, but the 9 cans did all the doors and the sides as well as the bulkhead.

Did a long highway run, full tank at 70m/h (110km/h) and got 35 miles per gallon (8.1L/100km).

Pretty good for a 2.3 ton camper I think. (MK7 euro5 swb fwd 125ps 280)

I noticed that, makes it look like you almost know what you're doing :wink: I like the glue lined heatshrink myself

I'm about the same with ma LWB 130 its about same weight, if I take it down to 56 it returns 40-42mpg depending on what fuels in the auld girl (320k on clock)
