Mine is a 2.4 di with no pprimer.
I have set up an old mallory racing fuel pump so it connects between inlet pipe and filter. Crocodile clips to jump start terminal and leave it running while I start van.
When van been running a few mins I turn it off, remove pump and start it again amd leave running for 5 mins..
