Brake discs fwd mk7 front and rear

Postby sortedvti » Sun Jun 03, 2012 10:59 pm

After changing the wheels on my transit mk7 fwd 2.2 110ps 57plate, it is now apparent I need discs and pads all round.

Are all the discs the same on the whole range of mk7's? If not can I put the higher powered engine brakes on?

Could someone post an eBay link for the cheapest front and rear discs and pads for me to purchase.

I've done the fronts on a mk6 before, I take it it's the same procedure?

Is it relatively the same to do the rear too?

Cheers
Neil

All FWD are the same,

RWD has bigger brakes but they would be a big job to fit

Hi Neil,

How about some nice grooved and drilled discs??
I've got loads of styles you can choose from.
Here are pictures of all the styles.
