There's a cheap complete one on eBay for 60 quid. I'll buy the back off you if it's in good condition

The back ? Just going to fit the complete new wheel and sell this wheel

Hi there,

May someone could share bcm calibration file for cruise control (2007 tourneo manual 2,2tdci, if that mater)
Gave the van for local tuners, but they struggle to get required ver file, sorry for them
Thanks!

Sorry, dumb, but still want cruise control :)
Is it so, that existing BCM file can not be tweaked to activate cruise control and "template" file must be used - uploaded to the BCM?

It still requires the relevant software upgrades by the guys who are smarter than me but it will enable you. to send the bcm away to get done while at the same time you should be able to drive your own van on your own control modules ie no down time ,get the modified kit back from the like of vantuner who can redo all the programmes reset the vin an all the relevant vehicle specific info you get it back it should be plug an play

Sending me a BCM by post to get cruise activated is quick & simple & many people do .. Send Monday get BCM back Wednesday is typical UK turnaround , or wait till you go on holiday so no downtime

Using the spare ECU kit is an option but there are some arguments against it..

If dont have access to IDS & decide to go down the road of sourcing a used matching Engine ECU, BCM & Blue Key fob to keep your van mobile whilst cruise is being activated dont send that "spare " kit as many aspects of the configuration cant be changed remotely like injector correction factor data, pump & pilot learn data. Put the spare kit on temporarily while you post your original BCM.. then sell on the kit once done.

Also , its more costly to do programming & hence time wise as I wouldn't be just activating cruise, i'd also be changing VIN, mileage (if clocks are changed as well) ,& any other setup differences like PCM software if axle ratio differs . So its possible just quite involved.

TYMD - If you get a ECU/Key kit from a cruise enabled van but otherwise very similar spec van ( PCM/BCM & Key Fob) then you'll have cruise working , assuming your wiring & steering wheel is in place.. The trick is finding the right spec donor kit 1st , get it a little wrong & your dash display will be just lots of warning lamps & having the the wrong VIN ID may not be to everyone's taste !
