thanks for the help guys

Message them through Facebook and explain, I'm sure they'll be more than happy to help

I emailed them via the website, the Ford Customer Relationship Centre ( 0845 600 3000 ) got in touch, couldn't be more helpful, told them the story, van is being booked into local stealer to have both replaced, couldn't have been nicer and were not impressed at the reception I got from clarks.

I offered to remove and refit both myself, only to be told it had to be done by dealers.

Hi,

Just started using the forum after my GF and I purchased a 55 plate 260 SWB with a camper conversion.

I picked up on this replacement badge post. Asked about it at Lookers in Sheffield, and though they didn't know about it they checked up and we got new ford badges front and rear. :D

As service was overdue (71k onthe van and last documented service at 48K) we had that done at lookers. Prices were broadly the same as our local garages, and when you factor in the free breakdown cover it looks like a good deal for our needs.

Thanks for the tip - sure I'm going to find many more as I browse further.

Ok I phoned that number . Fords customer relations to see if I could get it booked in some where for the free replacement badges..After being on the phone for half hour they said the guarantee has run out on my 2008 Transit 2.2..I said yes I know its expired !!!!!!!! ( The stupid idiot) But I have heard that the blue oval ford badges have a 10 year Guarantee on them and that they will be replaced free of charge up until December ???? NO SIR don't know where you heard that from ????? You can buy new ones if you so wish. After about another quarter of an hour on the phone I just gave up.I never get F all when something is free LOL typical.
