vcm2 module programming

Hi all ive just got a vcm2 with ids to programe my pump 2.4 tddi and when i click to go to module programming it says selection not available im just wondering if anyone knows how to get this working i did look on net and found this http://blogs.permoveo.ltd.uk/2012/02/02 ... available/ but could not find _to_flag.exml file to delete so guess thats a waste of time then :roll: lol thanks all steve

I too am having this problem. I installed an exteneded programme patch on my desktop. Restarted ids then went into the toolbox icon in IDS (v.86) selected module programming -selection not available??:/

rekon it's a duff patch??

Loot can i try yours?

Just extract it to desktop and run it.
Is your ids working on other things, is it licenced correctly? :-)

Just remember guys, "some" of the clone IDS VCM-II units just don't work, many of them just don't have the internal gubbins for them to work as they should, they can read and erase codes etc but when it comes to some module programing functions etc...they often fall a bit short.
We've found it to be a bit of a lottery. Try to make sure you get the "SP-177-C1" unit, this will give you the best chance of getting a working unit. Loot and I (and many others) have been burnt by these things before.

Forscan and a ELM-327 seems to be a lot more user friendly these days.

Managed to sort my problem it had 2013 in the reg file changed it to current date and wham iv just took the speed limiter off a transit thanks guys

my ids won't remove the speed limiter off a 2016 connect and it wont upload config we took the van to ford they removed it no problem does anyone know if the clone ids can remove a 2016 connect speed limiter I have a good quality clone
