Hi was just after some hits and tips as im thinking of updating my mk6
From the front end dash doors ect ect to the newer mk7

Make sure the van isn't rotten before you put in all the work in

Was just wondering when i change thdm dash clocks ect will i have to change the wiring loom and ecu or will it work of its own

Unless you change the engine, ecu, bcm, wiring. Then the mk7 clocks won't work

Just got some front end parts for the convertion but still need headlight bracket, front bumper corners and a good bonnet every1 ive seen has dents or the plastic vent missing but its on hold for 3 reason kids are of school and they want to camping 2 having windows fitted in the sides and 3 im goin to under seal the van cause i had it in for an mot and the guy said its the solidest 53 plate he has seen in a good while he told me to under seal it and it would last another 10years with out welding it so any advise on the best under seal would be great

as under seal i would use a 50/50 mix of old engine oil and waxoil/underseal you will have to heat the 2 togeather to be able to spray it but well worth it stay soft and it like water of a ducks back
