Is this for a left hand drive ? and mk 7 ?

Vacuum pump will be in the same location for any 2.4 rwd :)

From the pump a hose goes to a tee piece, from that there will be a large hose to the brake servo and a small hose to the heating controls.
I think only the aircon equiped vehicles have a solenoid valve in the panel near the abs pump unit.

This should help eucatparts dot com
mk7 08reg 2.4 T350 LWB MHR RWD
mk6 X reg 2.4 T350 LWB MHR RWD - scrapped
mk4 J reg 2.5 L300 LWB MHR RWD - sold on

Notice a trend there ? not too big and not too small

Danniboy is looking for vacuum control system for VGT turbo (it is tdci) and EGR valve.

---------------------------------------------

O.k. - I went to my Mk6 2,0 tdci, it is the same injection system as in Mk6 2,4 tdci and I looked for vacu pipes.
I think - it is big chance, you have exactly the same vacu system.

Are two vacu electrovalves. First has green electric plug and works for VGT turbo, second has black electric plug and works for EGR. It is impossible to exchange both plugs on wrong place.

Both electrovalves are looking identically, every one has three connection terminals for vacu pipes.
Vacu pipe from central terminal on valve with green plug, is connected to turbo servo.
Vacu pipe from central terminal on valve with black plug, is connected to EGR servo. This pipe is black with white stripe.

Outside terminals are connected together to vacu pump and to vacu bunker under weendscreen. Once I had broken pipe going to bunker and engine was very poor.
Opposite terminals on valves are also connected together to air filter.

Its all.

Transits owner in Sweden doesn't know this problem, because... they don't know Transits. This van is not offered on their market. If somebody has this van, he has TRANSIT and it is all what you must to know...
I have family in Sweden, I never met any Transit with Swedish plate numbers in this country per last 20 years.

Danniboy it is very special person... He must feels really lonely... Jag önskar dig lycka till med Transit. Image

Since you know op you have an advantage when answering the question.

Most UK TDCi will be mk7 so it is easier to answer on that basis unless the model information is forthcoming.

With 49000 members on here I'm not even going to try and remember most of them, there is just not enough time.

Good test it is what I wrote before - take out (disconnect) vacu pipe from VGT turbo serwo, later connect back. It must at once, every time, move to opposite position in half second.
When I had once broken vacu pipe going to vacu bunker and vacu in all system was to small - servo didn't work at once. It worked very slowly and not to the end (opposte position).
