I blanked my 2007 Transit with a plate without a hole and it ran perfect. Vantuner remapped it so the EML wasn't activated. This was over a year ago and still perfect.

Been running my 140 blanked for a few months now, seems to run fine.

Doesn't feel any different, but no crap to clean out anymore I guess.

When I blanked my mk6 the elbow into the inlet had a 4mm layer of the black gunk in the bottom 3 years later I removed the elbow and only a light coating of oil  so it's worth blanking it off
