Ford transit mk6 2005 cutting out

Hi all
Hope you can shed some light for me

Got my mk6 serviced 2 days ago oil air
filter
I was driving to work today
And vans coil light ce on and van cut out

Restarted it and ran for another few miles then cut out

With coil light flashing
Any help would be appreciated

needs codes reading otherwise its pure guesswork..but take it back first as if its fine before service must be something they done

Used it nxt day no probs then today
Cut out and coil
Light on

Look back over what you did in and around the engine bay, you may have disturbed a plug or damaged a wire to the pump. The pump loom in the area near to the starter motor is prone to getting damaged wires :idea:

Hi had a look around were I was working all seems good tryed all plugs connectors nothing loose

I didn't change fuel filter wen I done rest of stuff
Could that cause the issue ive been having

My freind said he had a transit connect do same thing
Cut out and flashing coil light

He thinks it could be injectors

Any thought on this greatly appreciate

That will be a TDDi.
It's unlikely that you have 4 dodgy injectors all at once, so it wouldn't cut out for that reason, but could be fuel related if you haven't changed the filter :idea:

Cheers I drove home from work tonight
Van drove as normal
Parked up reved it to 3000 rpm cuts out after a few seconds with coil
Light on

Is it a good quality fuel filter? Or ebay cheap rubbish?

A dont think it was a cheap 1 £16 it cost
I've not fitted that yet tho

fit the new filter but dont forget to fill it with fresh clean diesel before fitting otherwise engine will stop and they are hard to bleed

Getting code p1665 and p0216

Does this mean diesel pumps knackered

Might be new Diesel
Pump
Required but when he first plugged diagnostic machine in it
Showed cam shaft sensor
Fault the disappeared and showed other faults and codes I mentioned earlier

But I drove home from
Work with no
Problems once this all happened
So does that mean pump would be ok

Was gonna buy camshaft sensor and try fit
My self

Could any one help

TDDi doesn't have a camshaft sensor :?
