Hi all I'm still having a nightmare with my van 2.4 tddi rwd I can't stop my glow plug light from flashing with p1608 watchdog so far fitted brand new pump changed the ecu and transponder checked all the wiring and still no joy thinking of burning it now ahhhhhhhh any ideas anyone pleeeeeeeeeas

one thing today while I was looking at it my rev counter went off the scale and is now stuck reading 7000 rpm this happened while turning over :shock:

My money's on burst wire in loom to pump where it crosses starter.

Follow up just taken the engine loom out of my van and stripped right back all wiring is ok no rubbing marks and all works to the join block by engine fuse box tested with multi meter hum where to go now
