glue removal

I have removed the 115 and trend badges but whats the best way to get the glue off, I have tried white spirit but no use, suggestions please
I have owned a Transit since time began....

I've always used WD 40, works reasonley well.

Panel wipe, it's a paint prep degreaser (not thinners!). This works well without damaging the paint.

Lighter fuel. Poundland sell it, not sure on the price though :lol: :lol:

+1 WD40 If you spray into the top edge of the badge and slowly ease the badge off with a credit card or similar , much of the glue comes off with the badge :)

Brake cleaner, also very good for tyre marks.

Bunch of wimps it's only a few inches long just rub it like fook with your fingers 8)

Rub the glue with a little brown ale and drink what you have left over workes every time

turps on a rag swipe over the area leave it a couple of minutes repeat 1 or 2 times then rub it off with the turps soaked rag. Remember to wear rubber gloves or wash your hand straight afterwards as turps is nasty stuff and can be adsorbed through your skin.

I use a toffee wheel.

Great tool for removing foan tape left behind when removing badges, trims etc :mrgreen:

Toffee fudge wheels is good for removing glue without marking paint work
