Cheers Dave that's the first 1 in the list on eucat, they don't seem to differentiate the parts just give different finis codes :?
Trouble is workout phoning Ford I'm still non the wiser about which 1 to get as none are listed by finis.

Ford perimeter alarm (thatcham Cat 2) works on all doors including bonnet - It has a horn instead of siren.
Perimeter alarm horn, Part no F1372275 (6C1T-13832-AA)

Ford Alarm with Ultra sonic sensors is Thatcham Cat 1
Alarm siren part no F1447713 (6G9N-19G229-CE) is part of a immobiliser kit with SVO application - part no F4857580 (6C1V-19L514-AB)

That looks like an ordinary non-directional horn on my parts source, Loot want the battery backed version.

Yes there's 2 standard horns for the alarm 5S5T-13832-AA. Listed under anti theft active. And the battery backup siren listed under module-comms-network-diagnostics :-)
As standard i have all lock ajar switches and only need the bonnet switch which is 1 wire to switch and earth, i need 2 horns which is 1 wire to horns and earth, intrusion sensor which is 1 wire from bcm plus live and ground that i can take from the rain sensor or pats receiver. And i need the siren which is another 1 signal wire and live/ground.
The siren is probably signal activated so I'd imagine any alarm can be connected there depending on the type of signal is outputted, also i think a decent alarm that has its own set of cool functions would be a bonus ie. Tilt sensors etc.
I'm also planning on adding my cell alarm to it so it phones me up when the alarm goes off :o but baby steps for now tho as i want too get it all working first, seems stupidly simple tho.
So that's where I'm at :-)
Think that is the kit you mean Paul?

To me though i think the led and remote fob means it is the optional cobra alarm?
Would a standard factory Ford alarm have the extra led or use the vans pats led? Can't see any wiring connections for it.

I have one from a Mondeo mk3 here, just like the mk7's

Wouldn't have thought it will be compatible for a Transit mk7 Sensors have a 4 pin plug.
As for Siren, this is the one to go with the above Mondeomk3 sensor & both connect direct to GEM module.

On IDS ?

No etis wiring diagrams, i may have shortened the name when i converted it to pdf but it is there. Ids config shows no alarm at the moment but i will modify it to add the alarm, i wonder if Ford sold the kit after production as the configuration was already made for the van? Would make them more money to fit it as an optional, the module probably gets power and canbus to the pats module for the ajar switch outputs etc, it certainly doesn't look like it is a pats module to me so i can only assume that is the case but we have pats module as standard and is the same part number as the 1 used in the standard alarm systems, so the ultrasonics, horns, pin switch, and siren should be all we need along with software mod i hope :-)

Transit is 3 pin on etis live/gnd/signal, i have the intrusion sensor already fitted to my van from Mondeo just not connected.
I'll order the siren i think, just that they want more money for it than the other sirens despite them looking the same, hence my earlier question, are they all equipped with a battery?

That's OK

C-Max 06.2003 onwards has similar or same light unit in some models - connector C452 is alarm function and uses only 3 pins of 4.
Appears to be power to pin 1, earth to pin 2 and signal out of pin 4.
C-Max wiring 419-01A-00-001

Edit: I looked in the C-Max wiring because my Mondeo wiring info is corrupted in places.

Edit 2: looking at C-Max wiring 419-01A-00-002 shows a battery backed sounder, and both the sounder and sensor are run from the central junction box :)

Edit 3: correction - put Focus but meant C-Max
