Genuine ford alarm upgrades aren't far off then :)

Oh yes :-) just waiting for the siren to arrive then I'll play with the software tomorrow :-)
Cost so far is 40 quid :roll:
I think a Mondeo sensor and siren from the breakers might be cheaper?
Fingers crossed i don't find any brick walls on the next stage in the operation :wink:

OK i have my bits but can anybody tell me where they are located on the van pls, alarm horn/s, siren. It's just so i can check to see if i have the connectors there, if i don't I'll have to rig some up. and i don't think i have the plastic vent thing at my sld sill(if that is where something goes) :-(

No idea :-( there will be a horn for horn and another horn or 2 for alarm and the siren alarm box somewhere.

Just a thought? But in my handbook, it makes reference to a few relays and such as being " wipers etc( only if cat not fitted)".

Does that mean looms need altered etc? Or is it software stuff?

I've been looking in etis and on the van.

Horn/siren wiring is only partially shown, there is apparently a connector above the front door. The siren location is not shown.

I have found the bonnet switch, it is tucked away behind the air filter box.
mk7 08reg 2.4 T350 LWB MHR RWD
mk6 X reg 2.4 T350 LWB MHR RWD - scrapped
mk4 J reg 2.5 L300 LWB MHR RWD - sold on
Notice a trend there ? not too big and not too small
