Vibration at idle

Postby Davee75 » Tue Oct 21, 2014 6:51 pm

So been driving this for a good few days now, really like it but i am trying to find an annoying buzz/vibe which only happens at idle, once over 1000rpm it disappears....

Thought it was something trapped in the gap by the clocks, i found a few coins down there but it didn't help the issue. Then i thought it was in the gap between the windscreen and dash, only found a pen there so again no help..

On opening the bonnet i noticed the airbox moving a fair bit (if i press on it it stops) so i tightened up the fixing bolts a bit as there was a bit of play there but still no good though this isn't moving about as much!

I have since found that it seems like its somewhere in/behind the lining to the left of the clutch pedal as by pressing on this area it stops :?

Any similar experiences or idea's
