reverse sensors and lights not working

Since buying my Transit a few months back the reversing lights have never worked, also the reversing sensors on the bumper do not work. I've checked the fuses and the bulbs, checked the wiring on the sensors which all seems to be secure. Wondered if anyone had any ideas, could the problems be linked or two separate problems do you think?

Maybe you've not found the right fuse or it's the switch on the gearbox, mk7 transit I assume? The sensors will have a feed from the reverse circuit so both not working is from the same fault

hi brains it is a mark 6 02 plate

i wondered if it was 1 fault thanks is there a way to test the gear box switch without buying a new one and finding it still dont work,

Pretty sure mk7 has 2 wires at the switch so touching them together will bypass the switch, not sure about the mk6 but if it has 2 wires then do the same, if it has 1 earth it.

hopefully will be that and will be simple to change could do without a broken wire

The mk6 has 2 wires at the switch so joining them completes the circuit illuminating the lights. The fuse is in the engine fusebox
