Clutch losing pressure

Postby Armstrong paving » Thu Oct 30, 2014 7:44 pm

Help my vans just started losing pressure on the clutch pedal, it's not all the time it's just when stopped at junctions etc I can feel the pedal going soft and the van trying to drag away and I'm unable to get the van out of gear to stop it without cutting the engine, fluid level is fine ????

More likely the Master cylinder, and a hell of a lot easier :)

Unless your losing brake fluid or its running out of bellhousing.....

More van details required,Front or RWD,5 or 6 speed....Age etc.

i had same issue, was the cylinder at the pedal..sometimes no preassure and have to pump it loads to build it up.couldnt get it out of gear other times without massive pumping or couldn't get it into gear without same

It's 55 plate fwd 5 speed, no loss of fluid what so ever
