Yea , I know this is probably the wrong place to post but ........... can anyone tell me the location of the OIL PRESSURE SWITCH / SENDER UNIT on a Mk 6 petrol 2.3 ? . Posted this before in the general mk6/7 forum with no success ....... lol

Great , that would be good thanks ......... from all my googling it seems as though they never produced one for the petrol 6's . I know that for a lot of cars it's near the oil filter but I'm guessing it may be somewhere under the inlet manifold .

It says next to oil filter (could be behind it) and along wiring loom, says Haynes. They say it a switch not sender.

Thanks mate , I'll have a better look in the morning ....... never seen that Haynes Galaxy manual before . Is the engine identical ? I know they have a slightly different intake manifold ( without the coolant passages ) .

Yeah I use it quite often and never been wrong, surely same engine 2.3 16v Dohc. So I have two Haynes for one van :roll:

2004 swb 2.3 factory (I think but not sure) works but i'd rather get it serviced before I switch it on. only had the van for 2 days now!
anyone recommend an lpg guy in Hampshire?

Hi Carl I am guessing you have a factory LPG set up the guy to call is Edward he travels round the country servicing vehicles his mobile is 07954-582542 if he doe not answer send him a text message he is really good and better than most of the messers connected with the LPG trade
