Most people who upgrade these, seem to use the Philips Extreme, or the Osram Nightbreakers 8)

Think you will find a reasonable winter deal at Halfrauds.

Are the night breakers a crisp white colour and not a blue/purple. Any pics? (Drivers view)

Don't go with the unbranded ones, you'll have to explain how bad they are to get your money back.

personaly i wouldnt buy from hallfords as they charge the earth, go to a local motor factors, i dont know where you are but dorset auto factors or euro car parts will give you a very good price for bulbs, i didnt find much differance changing from haligen to xenon bulbs so i added a set of spot lights,

I've been using nightbreaker plus for a few years now, and would bother looking for anything else.
They have a blue tint on the glass, but this gives a sharp white light, and will transform your headlamps. I don't like those silly blue ones either.
There's a newer version called nightbreaker unlimited, which are the same lamp, but supposedly longer lifespan. I've use these now, but difficult to say if they last longer, cause I cant remember the last time I replaced one. Maybe that's just the "over 50" effect though
Halfords is way overpriced. Plenty of good motorfactors on Ebay.
