TX2 Taxi Clutch Problems

Hi guys,

I drive a a TX2 Taxi, as you know has the mk6 2.4 RWD lump and gearbox.

Problem is that i find it hard to select 1st gear and have to put my foot all the way to the floor and jam it in. I have just finished bleeding the slave cylinder today. The pedal went from really hard to softer on the foot but the gear selection was still bad and then over the space of 15 minutes the pedal went hard again.

I've ordered a new slave cylinder so hoping that changes the feel of the pedal.

Any ideas whats the problem?

Have you changed the slave?
