Anyone got a solution for this ? made an ar*e of install vcm2 v100.01

Managed to get this sorted had to change time to Jan 2016 and set time zone to Bejing gmt+8.
However what a nightmare to install this, have to install a virtual machine with windows XP and reset the date to 1/1/2016 every 3 days ,everything works except vehicle parameters (the one thing I was wanting) when trying to modify parameters computer just freezes. wouldn't recommend.

Need to find a compatible interface for the same kind of set-up

I've been quoted £150 including pairing the interface to the laptop by the guy I bought it from. Any one got any other solutions? (cheaper than £150)

Does anyone know if it is possible to turn off a selected injector in ids? Also while driving?
Thanks :-)

Yes, for a few seconds only.

From memory it is on the power train menu but I can't find it on the ford ids function list.

Found it by looking in ids

Signpost tab, Powertrain then Driveability
mk7 08reg 2.4 T350 LWB MHR RWD
mk6 X reg 2.4 T350 LWB MHR RWD - scrapped
mk4 J reg 2.5 L300 LWB MHR RWD - sold on

Notice a trend there ? not too big and not too small

My 65 plate is on ids v96, you need to install freeze program or vmware then ids v91 then v96 vmware snapshot, it isn't straight forward the vmware way i don't know how to use freeze either, should really learn it all but my ids works

Another member installed v91 then freeze, and seems happy with it tho :P

My serial number has been changed too.

(Solved)Ford VCM II module programming unavailable
Posted on September 28 2014 by diagkey.com in vcm 2
Just got my VCM 2 (clone) and desperate to try it out. Was disappointed because when I opted for module programming got the message “option unavailable” Contacted the seller xcardiag.com e-Shop for solution. And they help me solved. If you also have the same problem, the following solution may be helpful.

Solutions:

There were 2 discs that came with the vcm, 1 disk will be full ids v81 + c81 installation on dvd, the other disk will be ids v86 and patch only on a cd.

Install v86 + patch from cd then install v81 calibrations (installer) from dvd. As for installing patch, you have to open the patch file and run do not try to work it before installing the patch.

After this you need another patch called Ford extending program which you simply run and it extends the module programming function.

Found this and as I have this problem.

Cannot work out this bit
Then install v81 calibrations (installer) from dvd

Can anyone help :?: :?:
