Yes so far so good, well apart from the countless DTCs

Managed to preform a PCM update and currently looking into checking the SCV and PRV that I had changed were coded (if thats the right term) to the van

A quick question about calibration files.

I've noticed a few posts, which are a couple of years old now, with v81 calibration files, is this the latest version?

Yes v81 was the last dvd ids available and after that it went online to etis.
You install the c81 calibrations and then any newer ones you get online via etis get saved in the same folder. :-)

Ok I'm confused......again :)

How can I download from etis? I've been on the site and entered my vin which brought up my van but I'm unable to download from there. Sorry if this post has gone off topic

Maybe I'm having another one of my blonde moments here but I was hoping to get the latest calibration files.

Just have ids on and Wi-Fi internet and when you go to pcm update it should automatically do it, it'll only get the latest 1 you need for the job you are doing tho, the c81 is all of them for all vehicles upto it's date of mid 2012.

Alternatively you can go to motorcraftservice and try getting it by puttin your pcm tag in buy I've never been able to get it from there except blue estates 1 Lol

Try doing a pcm update in ids first tho.

Beware that it adds anti stall and things but smooths out power delivery which may feel like loss of ps.

Ahh right I get you now  I thought I had to download the latest software for my van onto a pc then add it to the calibrations file

I preformed a pcm update last night and the laptop had internet access so I guess I have the latest version. I noticed the anti-stall this morning and tbh I don't mind it and the van is running much much better than it ever did but still makes the same noise as a lollipop stick between the spokes of bmx

Thanks for your help Loot :D

You can do it manually but i never have Lol.

I recommend after a pcm update you should do a pump and injector learn :-)
Also you can get the injector correction factors off connector part of the injectors and go into injector correction factors and see what numbers ate shown in ids and make sure they are the same as yours in the right order.

That should be done first before the learns if you want to check, if not just do the learns.

If you didn't have the van new and there is no paperwork i suggest checking the injectors.:-)

Cheers mate, I'll do this tomorrow. Good to know I don't need to pop the injectors out to check the code on them :D

Anyone know where to find recordings on ids? I recorded cylinder balances earlier but can't seem to find where they're stored now :)

Not too sure :-(

Did you save the session when you closed it?
I'd go back into that session and look on technician logs
