looks like clock spring.. taken it all apart at the weekend.
seems to be a break in It somewhere.. best place to purchase one from ?????

Loads of clock springs on eBay cheap 
Put your post number in search.
Cmax, transit etc fit.
Don't forget to set it up as per yellow label instructions on the squib.
