ok, i`ll see if my "home" laptop (when its in the van/street) will pick up wifi from the house. If not i`ll use the mobile. my VCM has its own laptop (i don`t connect it to internet for any thing else other than win 7 updates) . :)

Ids gives you the outcode and you go to autokeyprog and enter your outcode then calculate the incode and then you manually type in the incode to ids to gain access :-) you don't need your ids laptop to be online, you do need to be online to get the code calculated, i use my phone and it's easy so you'll be fine. 8)

Ps. If there's more known keys programmed, than the actual keys you own then it is a good idea to remove all keys and program the ones you have. :-)

how long roughly from "ids" giving you an "outcode" do you get before the "incode" has to be obtained and entered?

At a guess, til your battery goes flat

You get the code and it doesn't do anything until you click on the next page :-)(but you'll have scampered into the hoos to get the code etc by then :-))

Be handy if that website ever closes :-)

It works on the clone VCM's, but not VCMII's.

calling loot,
just hooked it up and got the following as an outcode-
0040 0****F 000000

when you go to auto prog-you get-
outcode type-(single or dual) which is it??
then
outcode value- there are 2 boxes (the 1st box will only accept max 6 digits)

no matter how i try to enter the outcode -i can`t! :(
