Brown plug was the 1 on the back of the heated screen button or blanking plate top left on dash, pull blank out and you should see the connector, which i thought you'd already found?

The wires go from the battery fusebox to the glove fusebox r22/r26 then from those to the big connectors at the A pillars then to the screen + screen- goes to the big connector then to the earth bolt at the A post.
It's all in my thread above :-)

8th pic down in the link to your how to. Is a brown plug ?

I have no worries with the main power cables to and from the relays
I'm struggling to get the signal wires to the relays from the switch.

That's the bcm connector loot, not the switch plug :D

When you pull out the smaller bcm plugs there are two separate connectors joined together, they unclip from the main one and that is what you see on pic 8 :D

Looks to be part of the White plug connector?

Ah yes that's the 1:-)
Look on bcm for connector c4, unplug it and then split the 2 inner connectors and on 1 of them you'll be able to find pin 6, that is the negative switch for the 2 relays, positive is ignition linked the 2 relays to fuse f40(you may not have f40 so add it to the fusebox)
You don't need to worry about the actual on off switch for the screen as long as you have the connector where the button is on the dash. :-)

Please note that i did that how to before i got wiring diagrams and it worked but i haven't read it all through again and there may be small discrepancies :-(
I should make a new 1 with updated pictures etc.

C4 pin 6 morgan:-)
That's all you need to control the heated screen the factory way, the rest is relays and ignition live :-)

So if I understand this correctly.
The relays are negative switched ?
So they have a ign live and the power in / out ( the big cables)

I have already turned on the heated screen with ids but I assume that the light on the switch won't work as yet.

The switch is done already, you need to add the c4 pin 6 wire from the bcm to the relays negative throw side and live from fuse f40 at the glove front fusebox to the relays and that will activate them when you press the button.(only works with engine running)
Then the big 40a wires on the switched side of the relays to the screen then the screen to earth :-)
