Having a missfire with my mk7, sink the boot and it pauses and misses, rev counter fluctuates when on tick over, doesnt do it all the time, any ideas what it may be???

LOL...
I replaced the original batteries in my beast yesterday, starts much more betterer... it also cured some minor surging in 1st, 2nd & 3rd @ part throttle when engine was cold...!
