Postby k11gmh » Fri Apr 24, 2015 8:57 am

Hi my 2004 transit tdci 135 had a new fuel pump fitted about six months ago, I noticed some weeks ago a slight oil drip from the front of the engine cut a long story short replaced the brake vacuum pump as the culprit yet still got a leak yesterday can see oil running down from the lowest point from a round plastic cover fitted onto the timing cover directly in front of the fuel pump can anyone advise how this plate ? is fitted and why have I got oil leaking from this point thanks Graham

It's like a bayonet type affair, a slight twist should allow it it pop out and vice versa to refit :D
