Time to clean

Postby kirkyworld » Mon May 04, 2015 2:16 pm

If anyone is interested I did a proper valet on my own Transit this week. It is 6 years old and 30k miles. Looking better now than it was when I bought it

" So first things first get the engine bay cleaned up, i used up some AG engine and machine cleaner "

Firstly , brilliant job on the van , well worth the effort when you get results like that . I'm not familiar with the product you used in the engine bay . What is it and how is it applied ? ... thanks

Clay bar is great, Ive done part of my bonnet to see how good it is and it gets all the sh*t off your paintwork that wouldn't normally come off

Thanks Stevo , I was thinking more of the engine bay itself .... how to get that " used car showroom " finish

Apologies AG is short for Autoglym and I used the engine and machine cleaner this time although I usually use Autosmart G101. :D
