Rear doors don't lock after new fuel pump

Postby sjs205 » Tue May 26, 2015 10:19 pm

Hello all,

I recently brought a van with a nackered fuel pump, I've since replaced the fuel pump. I have noted that when I press the lock button on the fob it doesn't lock the back or sliding doors. Could this be something to do with the new pump? I never had the van before the pump failed so I'm not sure if it used to work.

Many thanks all,

Steven

Nope, I looked in the haynes manual and it only looked like it had a single fuse for the central locking. I will check this in the morning! :)

Cheers loot!

Ah, okay, I thought that since the keys are coded to the pump, and the pump has just been reprogrammed, that maybe it could have been programmed as a tipper or something ;) Haha

Only the fob is programmed to the CL control box. Do the rear doors lock if you only use the key in the drivers door

I'm not sure I've tried that, I'll check it tomorrow... Too late now since the alarm goes off whenever it is "locked" and I open the back door. :D

Be worth checking for a broken or cut wire(s ) look where rear doors open, where the wires pass from door to van

It is sliding door and rear doors that do not lock.
