throttle pedal

Postby finnon » Wed May 27, 2015 7:22 pm

is there any difference between throttle pedals on front wheel drive transits? i have a 55 reg van and my mate is scrapping a 53 reg van. both fwd vans. both 2 litre.

just he said i can take the pedal as long as i put the one of my van on his as he can then drive it to the scrappers.

mine has been getting worse and almost on a daily basis it varies the revs intermitently from normal to up to 2k rpm and back to normal. does my head in.
present van is a 55 reg t280 85ps lwb semi high

There are 2 different types of pedals, check what one you have and get the same one

Get a small screwdriver and lever them out. There is a raised dimple in the middle that you'll have to work out, easy enough with a bit of patience.
