I had a mk7 stereo in my mk6, you can use the focus stereo surround as that's what the factory stereo clips into. You have to relocate the hazard switch and chop out a bit of the dash but it's possible

Here's a couple of pics on mine, sorry about the finger prints on the screen :oops: ...it is a touch screen after all :wink: ...fitted to 2008 Mk7 in Aus:

This unit also uses the same removal tools as the standard 6000CD Ford unit. Also came with a Ford plug, so essentially it was "Plug 'n Play".

Anyone tried one of these models from Erisin. Got some scathing reviews but plenty seem to have been sold.

I've got an erinsin. Good bit of kit for the price. I need to have a look and find out why the radio isn't working. There's a lot of cables in behind and not a lot of space.
