Coolant capacity

Postby GT3RS » Sat Aug 29, 2015 9:41 am

Hi all,

I'm using my newly acquired van [55 plate 115T350] to move to Finland from the UK [yeah! I know, we must be mental!! 3,000km via Holland, Germany & Sweden in a 10 year old van!!!].

I'll be in Lapland, where temperatures can get to -35 centigrade.

So, obviously, I'm going to change the antifreeze before we go.

Question is, what is the total coolant capacity?

I'm thinking of a 50/50 mix. Would that be OK?

Cheers,

Rob

capacity 10 liters max is 70% antifreeze i would do that. At 40% it solidifies at minus 30 goes slushy at minus 25 i would recommend buying your antifreeze from ford its not that expensive for 5 liters
If it ain't got leaf springs it in't a commercial
