WHERE IS THE WATER COMING FROM.

Hi, I have been trying to find where all the water is coming from in my mk7 transit.
The foam underlay is saturated and the drivers seat has started to rust.
I can see to large holes either side where water can enter the cab on the wheel arch but I can't find where the water would be getting in the other end.
I dont want to just fill the holes in the cab as this would just make a pocket for water to sit and rust.
I also dont think this is in a position to saturate the whole foam underlay and even up and over the suspension mounts.
Does anyone have any idea to where the water could be getting in and where needs to be sealed up.
I dont face my van rusting from the inside lol. Any help would be appreciated thanks.

Yes only a few weeks ago. But this problem has been here a lot longer. I spoke to the window fitter and he said there was no signs of it getting in around the old one.

Im pretty confident its not the screen. I would like to find out where its running in to come out of these holes on the arch either side. Im going to try and draw a circle around them on the pictures so there easy to identify.

Hire a DJ's smoke machine, turn it on inside the cab and you should see it escape, probably worth opening the bonnet as well as there could be a grommet missing in the bulkhead.

Thats where a fair bit is coming from. Does anyone know where this join starts. I can't see nothing under the wheel arch.

my mk6 trucks the same.... my mk6 van is ok though

Who removed the foam/sealant

It had deteriorated and I just pulled the remainder out so I could see it more clearly. Do you know where the hole goes? I would like to block it the other end.
