Transit won't open

Front doors unlock but rear button won't work. Wen I double click open it try's to open then locks all the doors. No drivers door lock just key

What mark ? 6 or 7

Have you checked all the fuses ?

Mk6 with mk7 doors but side door handle is snapped so access only through rear doors. If I cut wire loom will that release door ?

No.

You need power to the lock to unlock it. I don't have the wiring info to hand at the moment.

Should have fixed the side door lock so you can access the interior controls of the rear doors.....

What's my option now then apart from bending top of door down? How about smash rhs rear light out to get to wire loom

So when you unlock can you hear the back doors make a sound? Or are they dead?

On a mk6 there's a wire to earth at the CL control box and it unlocks the rear doors

Yes rear doors make a noise but don't unlock. We're will I find that plug?

If the rear doors make a noise then they are getting power but aren't unlocking probably the door mechanism is bent or faulty inside, try leaning on the door and unlocking it, if you can only do it with the key then get someone to help, good luck

Oh dear you'll have to find out what is cheapest to replace.

Managed to take headrest out get a mate both lay against dash and kick the ply lined bulkhead off then climb through. After I'd opened the rear door they seem to now open and lock again all fine. Strange these transit vans haha. Cheers for the tips tho guys

Fix your side door before you do anything else!
