Limiter

Postby paulplom » Thu Feb 11, 2016 5:34 am

When on the autobahn I find my transit won't go over 105mph even though the rev counter only reads 3k. Is there a limiter on it? I don't want it taken off I'm just curious.

All mk7 Transits have a factory 100 mph limited ( indicated speed will vary depending on model)
It is there because the speed rating of the standard tyres is 100mph
It can be removed by remappers such as van tuner

Does this train stop on Merseyside?

It's not a rocket....it's a jet..  Has been clocked at 264kmh (164mph) thus far....don't think it'll go much faster though...it's not real slippery..!

Still, it's got to be safer than a transit at that speed

LOL...there's plenty of "puckering" going on too, especially when the pucker is only 20mm off the ground..! When I get out of the thing I often need to take the seat with me..!
