Exactly right sir, the EGR was knackered. It was just replaced in January so the garage I used replaced it yesterday again free of charge.
The garage I used was Durham diesel services (although they're located in beamish, Co.Durham) and they were great. I would have expected to atleast pay for their time but they didn't charge me anything.
