I fitted mine (Mk7 wheel to Mk6), but the airbag light flashes. Is there anyway to overcome this?

It'll be a flash code, what no. Is it? I had that problem originally, it was to do with the earth being on the wrong part, unthinking had to move it on to the horn connector on the bag and not the wheel :D

Ok Paul, I will give it another go. It may just have been the plug was loose as it was off when I took the airbag back off. I will keep you posted.

Well had another go and still the same. airbag light went out and then flashed twice a pause then flashed twice and so on. No horn either. Giving up on it now. Have noticed a couple of bits of plastic broken on the back of the airbag where the retaining ring clips into, so perhaps a duff one. The wheel is ok though, I will just sell that bit on and throw in the dodgy airbag. Perhaps someone will have better luck :( .
