Floor plans

Postby Airthies » Wed Apr 27, 2016 10:36 pm

Got a bit of a plan going round in me head an just trying to flesh it out a bit.

Can anyone confirm what differences between a FWD & RWD engine bay, bulkhead & load floor are?
Am i right in thinking that its just the floor drops behind the front seats to the sill level on the FWD.
Where the load floor on the RWD is same level as cab?

Is the engine bay & bulkhead any different?

Cheers

Only difference is the load bay height in the back from behind the bulkhead, fwd is 4" lower than the rwd :D

Sweet thought so, that lends a few more aspects to the plan. As recon I could stand in the back of a FWD medium high but not been able to try for sure.

I've a FWD MR and can near enough stand up but still have to stoop slightly although not as much as I did in my RWD. Think from memory the height is 1.74m

With Stilletos I'm well over 6'6"...without I'm just 6'...

At 6' I can stand up straight in my LWB HR RWD...I suspect a FWD HR will have a tad more headroom.
